Fastest Woman at St. Agatha: Kerstin Taus Delivers Another Standout Result with X Shift

The St. Agatha hillclimb delivered everything a motorsport enthusiast could ask for: a fantastic atmosphere, a strong field and plenty of competition. For Kerstin Taus, it also delivered another memorable result.

Driving her Subaru Impreza P4 Turbo, Kerstin set a personal best at St. Agatha with a time of 1:10.242, finishing as the fastest woman at the event and taking an impressive 3rd place in PF1.

Even more remarkably, this was the third consecutive time Kerstin has finished as the overall fastest woman at the event.

“The 1:10.242 was also my fastest time ever at St. Agatha so far. I was very happy to be the overall fastest woman at the event for the third time in a row, which makes the result even more special for me.”

Handling the power

The Subaru Impreza P4 Turbo is clearly a car that demands respect. With plenty of power and a challenging character, getting everything right is part of the appeal.

“It has a lot of power and can be quite demanding, but when everything comes together, it is incredibly rewarding.”

Finding the right setup and building the confidence to push harder are a big part of the challenge.

Behind the result was also a significant amount of work before the car even reached the start line.

Following problems with the gearbox at the previous event, Kerstin and her team had very little time to get everything ready for St. Agatha. As her gearbox partner, X Shift reacted quickly, sending the front differential lock by express, renewing it and thoroughly checking the gearbox to make sure everything was ready for the next event.

That rapid turnaround made the difference.
